The foundation was established to support people with disabilities at the end of 2011, from initiatives of business men & women, communities that care about people with disabilities. The initiative represented establishing a modern and professional fund for the Arab society, legally registered as a civil organization, managed by a professional staff as well as a group of activists, business owners and prominent social figures. The Fund’s management seeks to include the largest number of Arab businessmen and women, social activists and people from all diverse segments of society to the Fund’s membership. This initiative is the result of a long process of community work to support the issues of people with disabilities through the disability and rehabilitation section of the Joint Israel, which has taken on the responsibility of supporting and caring for this initiative for more than 7 years.
